Request-A-Post Contest - July
This morning I decided to reward my blog followers in a new way with the Request-A-Post Contest that will from now on be held at the beginning of every month. Here's the way it works. If you're not already a follower, become a follower. Post a comment to this blog post giving your creative idea for a post that you think people would want to read about. It can be a game you want me to review and write about, a helpful gaming subject, or anything else to do with online gaming (PC only please). In five days the top 3 ideas will be selected and set up in a new post for everyone to vote on. The winner of the vote this month will receive $10 worth of Riot Points that can be used in League Of Legends. Use them to buy new characters, new outfits, XP bonuses, or anything you would like in the LoL universe. This prize will change month to month based on which prizes the readers prefer but will always have to do with online gaming. Leave some great creative ideas and as always Happy Hunting.

I would love to see tips on how to protect yourself online so your account and information is safe while you game away :D!
ReplyDeleteI would love to see how strong the champion/s is in League of Legends to see what you use in a year/s
ReplyDeleteHmm... What about a post regarding unknown (underrated, if known) online games? It's always pleasant to get to know games you don't, specially when they're quality products.
ReplyDeleteI suggest that you should write a blog on the evolution of gaming. Gaming has changed drastically as time has progressed. Talk about how League of Legends became to be. Starting with what triggered Guinsoo's inspiration to be a creator of DotA and a head designer/creator of one of the top games of year, League of Legends. You might be able to conduct an interview with him through the forums at: http://www.leagueoflegends.com
ReplyDeleteAsk him what sparked him to go and join the Riot Staff. Also, how DotA effected him abilities to improve League of Legends.
Also, if you don't mind here's my referral link. http://signup.leagueoflegends.com/?ref=4c27199b7497a
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion I think a good one would be a blog on how games reflect peoples personality's outside a game and whether specific personality's are more aggressive in game vs others who aren't and how say someone who likes more mmo based games or rpg's has a different attitude about gaming vs someone who is more into rts or fps games
ReplyDeleteVote for me :-D
ReplyDeleteI think you should talk about how World of Warcraft went from being a very popular game and now is turning into a game for "nerds" and people who cant play so called real games.
ReplyDeleteI think you should talk about how so many youngsters are getting access to M rated games. It just doesn't seem right for a twelve year old to be playing games full of blood, gore, and bad language.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to see a post about how much Hacking games has become almost as lucrative as making games. From WoW's infamous Chinese gold farmers to places like Callofdutyhacks.com. Businesses have sprung up all over to take advantage of people who don't want to play fair, and it's ruining gameplay for otherwise good games. (ie: Look at what happened to Counter Strike)
ReplyDeleteMy opinion is that there should be a test run of a champion once before buying it cause my friend just bought the champion Akali and when he used her, he sucked with it.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, you guys should talk about the growth of the gaming community since it started until now. How the graphics improved, how games are becoming more gory and realistic, etc. Not only would this help show that you have extreme knowledge in gaming, it would give a people idea about the grand gaming world and take your word for it. You can even add how people's personality and addictiveness, gaming community as well.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the great ideas so far. It's going to be hard to choose 3 ideas to vote from!
ReplyDeleteI'd like to see you do a blog post on whether or not game companies should dip into marketing other products for their games- collectibles, card games, etc. Since you seem to be a LOL fan what if they made action figures and if you bought the figure you got a free code for a skin in the game to match the champion?
ReplyDeleteHow far do you think companies could go with their marketing, how should they connect more with their target audience - or bring in new people - and how much earning potential do you think they have.
You could even question is it ethical for a game to have external products that are unrelated to the game or should they focus on the content just in the game itself.
All companies make their games to make money. Most companies already do make little action figures, clothes, etc.
ReplyDeleteEvery major game is out there to make money, they don't do it for fun. Even DotA, there is a little DotA store. People take advantage of anything in order to make a profit.
